Ruth Scotch. Portrait of a Girl (oil)
All of the work featured in See You, See Me has a story behind it. Among the many unique portraits included in the exhibit is Belmont artist Iris Chandler's lithograph based on a photograph of her husband taken during World War II and incorporating fragments of a letter he wrote one long winter night while caring for the sick and wounded during the Battle of the Bulge in Liege, Belgium.
