An exhibition of the members of the Belmont Art Association
Artists’ Reception: Sunday, February 9, 1 – 4 p.m.
Sunday Salons: Sunday, March 2 and March 9, 2 p.m.
Belmont Seen, the inaugural exhibition of the Belmont Art Association, announces the Association’s arrival to the community and offers an opportunity to meet many of the artists–both amateur and professional–who live and work in our midst. Showcasing work by 27 BAA members, the eclectic exhibit includes work in a variety of media from painting, drawing, printmaking and collage, to sculpture, ceramics, textiles, jewelry design, and photography.
Founded in 2013, the Belmont Art Association’s mission is to “create a community of and for Belmont-based visual artists by sharing information and resources and creating opportunities to display their work.” For more information about the organization visit their website.
Additional programming during Belmont Seen will include Sunday Artist Salons to be held on March 2 (more information here) and March 9 at 2:00 p.m. Sure to be of interest to art appreciators, collectors and other artists as well, participating artists in each session will discuss a range of topics such as inspiration, motivation, thought processes, techniques, etc.
