80% of all textiles end up in landfills. Denim alone accounts for more than 200 million tons of waste a year. The BMQG was challenged to make quilts using only up-cycled materials, especially denim. The quilts they produced are beautiful works of art.

The BGA invited artists to submit work in a variety of media – drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, photography, printing, fiber art and more – both two dimensional and short-form poetry. No frames or mats. Beaded, sculptural, and fiber work are included in this delightful exhibit!
