The Belmont Gallery of Art is located in the Homer Building, one of three buildings in the town hall complex located between Leonard Street and Pleasant Street. There is plenty of parking: adjacent to our building is a parking lot with Visitor spaces; another parking lot is only a short walk away, behind the stores on Leonard St.; parking spaces on surrounding streets. Public Transportation
Bus: Take the 74 or 75 bus from Harvard Square to Belmont Center.
Commuter rail: Take the Fitchburg line to Belmont Center. Visit the MBTA website for more schedules, maps, and fares
Driving
From the North or South: Take Route 128 to Route 2 East and follow the directions from the West…
From the West: Take Route 2 East, exit at Route 60, Belmont. Turn right off the ramp onto Pleasant Street. At the third light, turn left onto Concord Avenue. Make immediate left into parking lot. The Homer Building is straight ahead.
From the East: Follow Storrow Drive to Fresh Pond Parkway. (Alternatively, go west on Concord Avenue out of Cambridge.) Follow Fresh Pond Parkway around the first rotary and at the second rotary, cross traffic, onto Concord Avenue, keeping Fresh Pond on your left. Continue on Concord Avenue, through one traffic light, past the high school and under the stone railroad bridge. Turn left just under the railroad bridge, remaining on Concord Avenue. Turn right after the flagpole memorial, into the parking lot. The Homer Building is straight ahead.
