Nature’s glory presents us with a breathtaking array of patterns, colors and textures. The BGA is asking artists to submit work in a variety of 2 and D media that celebrates–and is inspired by–the beauty and design found in our natural world.

The Building Blocks of Art

Reception: Sat., Nov. 9, 5-8pm

The exhibit features several dozen artists who use the art ELEMENTS of Shape, Line, Form, Color, Space and Texture–and a variety of media–including painting, photography, assemblage, textiles and printmaking–to create striking visual narratives.

Opens Sunday, Oct. 27, 1-4pm

Regular Gallery Hours: Thurs., 10-4; Fri., 10-12; Sat./Sun. 1-4
*Visitors also welcome to stop by Mon.-Weds. 10-4

Elemental – Call for Art

Compelling Visual Narratives

The Belmont Gallery of Art’s Fall Exhibit “ELEMENTAL” explores how the foundational elements of making art work together to create compelling visual narratives.The BGA’s Elemental exhibit will focus on the elements of Shape, Line, Form, Color and Texture. The gallery is looking for both 2 and 3 Dimensional Representational and Abstract Art Submissions.
